Fernando Pimenta

Canoeing

Fernando Pimenta started swimming in 1993, only 4 years old, and this was his main sport until he discovered, in the summer of 2001, canoeing. He lacked coordination and balance and did not bode well for the future in the sport, but he thwarted all expectations and won various awards for the country, accumulating more than a hundred medals and three awards from the President of the Portuguese Republic himself.
