    Swimming

I started swimming when I was 5/6 years old, at first it was for fun and to learn how to swim, but over time the desire to be better grew with each passing day. When I was only 14, I left my family and joined the CAR in Montemor o velho and later in Rio Maior. From then on, the dream of one day taking part in the Olympic Games was my daily motivation. I love challenges and overcoming myself. I'm studying nutritional sciences because I believe that an athlete is made up of hard work but also good nutrition and recovery and I'd like to one day be able to work with athletes like me.
