    Judo

Guilherme Silva, currently 19 years old, is a judo athlete, a Sports Science student at the FMH and a grade I judo coach.

He took up the sport when he was just 5 years old, on medical advice due to his hyperactivity. His interest in the sport was surprisingly immediate, and at the age of 14 he won his first national medal.

When he was 16, he decided to take the sport more seriously, starting to train twice a day and introducing functional training in parallel.

His resilience, focus and dedication have led Guilherme to already win 8 National Medals, becoming Junior National Champion, Under-23 National Champion and Vice University National Champion in 2022.
