Born in Lisbon on June 3, 1997 and currently living in Caneças, Odivelas, Tiago Luzes has shown a passion for sport since childhood. He began his career in federated soccer at the age of five, and entered the world of Crossfit at sixteen, in a box near his home. At eighteen, after a year of combining soccer and Crossfit, he joined the Portuguese Navy.
For a few months, he kept training at a local gym, where he developed his own routine (something he doesn't recommend) which culminated in taking part in the Manz 2016 Comp, where he won second place. It was at this event that she met Diogo Corrente, the owner and Head Coach of Crossfit Odivelas.
After the competition, Tiago was invited by Diogo to join the Crossfit Odivelas team, where he was accompanied by the Head Coach. In September 2018, following Diogo's recommendation, he began a winning partnership with coach Renato Costa.
At the age of 26, Tiago Luzes has already won the title of Portuguese National Crossfit Champion, making him an inspiring example. This is just the beginning of his journey, and his current goal is to compete in the Crossfit Games. Tiago has total confidence in his abilities to achieve a good ranking even when competing against the best. In the quest for victory, confidence is the first step, and he is determined to follow this path.
